The Eye of the Storm

 This original mixed media painting is painted on a box canvas ready to hang. Painted mainly in acrylic paint  it has some parts where gel balls have been added to the paint to give a feeling of texture. Other parts of the painting are left soft with the use of only paint. This is a painting inspired by the sea but not at all an attempt to paint the a wave or the sea. Yet it does attempt to create the feeling of storm and the colours of the sea have been used. 

 This is an abstract work and will say different things to different people.
