Ralph has now been accepted as a "Member of The Pastel Guild of Europe" at professional level. He feels honoured to be a member of such a body. He feels sure that this will encourage him to strive  further in the area of Pastel Painting.

Two of the latest abstracts  completed by Ralph is to be used as a teaching example at the, " Academy of Lifelong Learning in Wilmington DE.

Welcome to Ralph Garage Art -  presenting  the original artwork of Ralph Taylor.  Colour, movement and light inspire Ralph to paint. He paints from his heart, and from memories which are evoked by the places he visits and the moments he shares with others.  Ralph does not always "stick to the rules" of painting.  His desire is to stir the viewer with emotion through the creation of original and vibrant works of art.

Uniquely, Ralph's talent is organic.  Ralph has never attended art-school and he has had no professional tuition.  His work has grown from a rich and diverse experience of life.

Ralph hopes that you enjoy the artwork displayed on this site as much as he has enjoyed creating it. All of the work exhibited on the site is for sale (unless marked as sold) and so the site changes regularly.  You may therefore wish to Bookmark this site for future visits. 

Ralph also hopes that through the variety of artwork included in the site every-one will find at least one piece which stirs him.

Ralph's favoured medium is acrylic.  Predominantly by this medium, Ralph paints Landscape Paintings, Seascape Paintings, Abstract Paintings and Still Life Paintings. Ralph also uses  pastel, particularly for People Portraits and Animal Portraits. 

Please remember to look at the section of recent sales and completed commissions if there is a painting there you like Ralph will do something similar for you to your specifications.

Ralph would like to thank all of his clients who have purchased work from him. He hopes that his work gives his clients joy and inspiration.  Ralph comments:

"It is good to know that my work is hanging in homes and offices throughout the UK.  I am honoured that from my humble beginnings in art, some of my paintings have travelled overseas and are safely installed in homes as far away as the USA."

Ralph hangs some of his work in the Duddingston Arms Public House, at Newton, by Linliithgow in West Lothian, Scotland.  He also displays work at the Commercial Inn in Dunfermline, Scotland and recently he has started to hang work in the Burgh Arms in Inverkeithing, Scotland. Why not take a visit.
