This is a similar scene to my painting Bridging the Gap. This original work is painted using knives and thick impasto acrylic paint.

Description
This landscape painting is completed using acrylic paint on a 24" x20" Canvas The canvas is a box canvas and the thick impasto paint is carried over the edges. This painting like my last one of theis South Queensferry scene captures the mood of the view looking down the vennal.
On this ocassion I used knifes for the largest part of the painting so the paint is thick which I hope adds depth to the whole feel of this work.
